Frequently asked questions
Questions about how we support you
What if I’ve had a bad experience with another provider?
Unfortunately, we know that not every support experience goes the way it should. If you’ve had a negative experience in the past, it’s completely normal to feel cautious about starting again. At Your 24/7 Support Services, we approach every new relationship with openness, patience, and respect. We’ll take the time to understand what didn’t work before and what matters most to you now. You’ll never be treated like just another participant. We genuinely listen, check in regularly, and adjust how we work based on your comfort and feedback. Rebuilding trust takes time, and we’re here for that.
Can I change the type of support I receive later on?
Yes you can as we know life changes and your support should change with it. We understand that what you need today might look very different in a few months’ time. At Your 24/7 Support Services, we stay flexible so we can adapt how we support you as your goals, needs, or circumstances shift.
Whether it’s adjusting your hours, introducing a new type of support, or changing how things are delivered, we’ll talk things through with you and make changes in a way that feels smooth and respectful. You won’t need to start from scratch or feel like you’re asking too much as changing your support is simply part of how we work.
How involved can my family or carer be in planning my support?
Your support is your choice and if you’d like family, carers, or other trusted people involved, we’re happy to work alongside them. At Your 24/7 Support Services, we know how important your support network is in day-to-day life.
We’ll always take your lead on who to include and how much involvement they have. Whether that’s a parent, sibling, partner or long-time carer, we can loop them into planning, check-ins, or provider coordination, whatever helps you feel more supported and understood. We also take care to balance their input with your independence, so the support plan reflects your goals, not just what others think is best.
Do you help with preparing for NDIS reviews?
Yes this is something we can help with. We know how important NDIS reviews are, and how stressful they can feel. Your 24/7 Support Services can help you prepare by gathering the right information, tracking your progress, and making sure your goals and outcomes are clearly documented.
We’ll support you to reflect on what’s worked, what needs adjusting, and what you’d like to aim for next. Whether that’s through reports from providers, updates on capacity building activities, or feedback from support workers, we’ll make sure you’re not doing it all on your own. It’s about giving you the best chance to have your needs recognised and your funding matched accordingly.
What makes Your 24/7 Support Services different?
What sets Your 24/7 Support Services apart is our persistence in pursuing meaningful outcomes, our determination, and the genuine care we provide to each person we support.
With over 25 years of experience in community care and 11 years as a Service Coordinator, we’ve seen how disconnected things can become when people are treated like a checklist. That’s why we take the time to be present, notice the details, and adapt our support to suit the person.
